Dragon Spirit Warriors

These pieces were my final project for an art class I took in sophomore year. The project was to come up with 3 cohesive designs for white t-shirts. My theme was female warriors in sci-fi style armor summoning Japanese spirits-dragons. I kept a grayscale look and only colored the weapons and dragons.

Piece 1:

Translates to: Mizuchi

Mizuchi is a river dragon in Japanese myth.

Piece 2:

Translates to: Hachiman

Hachiman is a god of earth and agriculture. However, to fit the theme of the three characters, I personified the deity as a dragon.

Piece 3:

Translates to: Orochi

Orochi is an eight headed Japanese dragon.
